Suspect using index cards! One Card System research proves that 70% of Qualified Suspects will never become Prospects by completing a fact finding interview. These names should be round filed! Don’t keep them in your system – they’re worthless names that will slow you down. It’s easy to manage this process using index cards, which you can take with you on appointments if necessary as you telephone Suspects in between appointments. If you cannot get a Suspect to meet with you within 30 days of obtaining the name, throw the card away! Important: do not enter Suspect data in your electronic contact management system. You will find it much more problematic to delete worthless Suspect names in a computer program, and will quickly find yourself with a large database full of non-producing contacts. Instead, only enter data into your computer after a Suspect provides facts and becomes a Prospect.
